Blessing Uzzi

Blessing Uzzi is a Nigerian film director and producer known for telling socially relevant stories through cinema. She earned a first-class degree in International Relations from Eastern Mediterranean University in North Cyprus before returning to Nigeria to pursue filmmaking. Her work includes the short film 9:07, which explores the final hours of an author's life, and the feature film No Man’s Land, addressing forced evictions in urban slums. She also wrote and produced Freedom Way, a film highlighting police harassment of Nigerian youth. Blessing is the founder of Bluhouse Studios, a Lagos-based production company focused on film, music videos, and advertising content. Her storytelling often centers on underrepresented voices and pressing societal issues.
