Femi Odugbemi

Femi Odugbemi is a Nigerian filmmaker, writer, and producer with a career spanning over three decades. He is the founder and CEO of Zuri24 Media, a Lagos-based content production company. A graduate of Montana State University, Odugbemi studied film, radio, and television production. He has produced and directed several acclaimed works, including the feature films Maroko, Gidi Blues, and Code Wilo, as well as the documentaries Bariga Boys, Makoko: Futures Afloat, and Unmasked: Leadership, Trust and the COVID-19 Pandemic in Nigeria. Odugbemi was the founding content producer of Tinsel, Nigeria’s longest-running daily soap opera, and has also produced Battleground, Brethren, and Movement-Japa. He is a voting member of both the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. In addition to his creative work, Odugbemi co-founded the iRepresent International Documentary Film Festival and serves as the Academy Director of the Multichoice Talent Factory (West Africa).
