Michael Oladapo Afolarin, professionally known as Mike Afolarin, is a Nigerian actor, filmmaker, and aerial photographer born on September 1, 1993, in Lagos, Nigeria. He spent his early childhood in Ibadan before returning to Lagos at age seven. He attended Federal Government College, Ijanikin, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Lagos in 2016. Mike's acting career began in 2013 with a stage play titled Magic Time. He gained significant recognition for his lead role as Ishaya Bello in the Netflix series Far From Home (2022). His filmography includes notable works such as Kasala!, Soólè, and Your Excellency. Beyond acting, Mike is also involved in filmmaking and photography, having directed short films like An Interview Story and Peace.
