Moses Babatope is a seasoned media executive and creative entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in film exhibition, production, distribution, marketing, and cinema operations across Nigeria and the UK. He co-founded Filmhouse Cinemas, now the largest cinema chain in West Africa, and FilmOne Entertainment, a leading studio and distribution company behind Nollywood blockbusters such as The Wedding Party series, King of Boys, Omo Ghetto: The Saga, and Battle on Buka Street. As Managing Director of FilmOne, he led international partnerships with Disney, Warner Brothers, Sony, Netflix, and Amazon, helping to position Nollywood content on global platforms. In 2024, Moses launched the Nile Media Entertainment Group as Group CEO, a multi-arm venture focused on film production, distribution, cinema experiences, and talent development, backed by a multi-million-dollar investment. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Money, Banking & Finance and a Master’s in International Finance from Middlesex University, London. He served on the Nigeria Oscars Selection Committee, became a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and was a juror at the International Emmy Awards. He is married with two sons and enjoys football and cooking.
