Segun Akanni Ogungbe is a celebrated Nigerian actor, filmmaker, producer, director, and scriptwriter known for his work in Yoruba Nollywood cinema. He began acting at age three, appearing in stage plays and early films, before founding his own production company, Segun Ogungbe Films, in 1996. He gained prominence with lead roles in movies such as Ibi Giga, Olokiki Oru: The Midnight Sensation, and One Bad Turn. In 2021, he received the Movie Icon Award at the City People Entertainment Awards. Ogungbe is also recognized for mentoring upcoming talent and contributing to Yoruba film culture.
