Born on December 28, 1979, in Abiriba, Abia State, she holds degrees in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Calabar and in Computer Programming from the Federal University of Technology, Minna. She began her acting career in 1999 with Visa to Hell and has since written and produced acclaimed films like Damage, Holding Hope, and Nollywood Hustlers. In 2008, she launched her production company, and by 2015, she ventured into directing. Jombo is also a Globacom ambassador and runs a youth-focused NGO, Uche Jombo and You.
