The story

In this gripping psychological thriller, aging detective Mzi and his young, skeptical partner Kgoro are assigned to investigate a series of brutal killings involving children in a rural South African community. While the evidence points toward a sinister witch doctor named Banda, the locals are paralyzed by rumors of the "Tokoloshi"—a mythical, bloodthirsty beast. For Kgoro, the case is deeply personal, as he is still haunted by his mother’s mysterious death years prior.
