Biography

Abiola Sobo (born October 5, 1982, in Lagos, Nigeria) is an accomplished filmmaker, director, and creative entrepreneur. He co-founded Suss Productions in 2014, where he serves as Creative Director, working across film and television projects Sobo is best known for directing In Iredu (2014), Inspector K (2017), and the Showmax original series Princess on a Hill (2024), which he co-created and executive produced A visionary filmmaker passionate about authentic Nigerian storytelling, he also contributes as an executive producer on various projects, building a reputation as a leader in the Nollywood creative scene .
