Adeola Osunkojo is a multifaceted Nigerian director, producer, writer, and educator, renowned for her influential storytelling across television, film, and reality media. Born and raised in Nigeria, she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Creative Arts from the University of Lagos. Her early career began as a writer and actress on the teen series Shallow Waters, before transitioning behind the camera to focus on directing and producing. Adeola rose to prominence directing flagship Nigerian TV series, including Rumour Has It, Flatmates, Encounters, Love Like This, Tales of Eve, The Life of a Nigerian Couple (which evolved from a viral short to a full series), and Lagos Sketches. She also led long-running reality shows such as Project Fame West Africa (seven seasons), Big Brother Nigeria, and The People’s Hero, as well as impactful documentaries like 76: The Story Behind the Story and Ibrahim Attahiru: A Soldier’s Soldier.
