Ahmed Farah is a Somali filmmaker and founder of Riyo Films, an East African production company. He began his career with Dutch and Belgian broadcasters before establishing Riyo Films. His notable work includes The Last Hijack (2014), which won Best Non-Fiction Digital Program at the 2015 International Emmy Awards. Farah has collaborated with major networks like Al Jazeera, BBC, and CNN, producing impactful documentaries that highlight African stories. His recent projects include the films Ayaanle (2022), Arday (2023), and The Village Next to Paradise (2024).
