Biography
Akpor Kagho was a Nigerian screenwriter, actor, and director known for his contributions to Nollywood. He gained recognition for writing Living Funeral in 2013, a film that centered on breast cancer awareness and earned him a nomination for Best Writer in the Drama category at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards. His work on this film was praised for blending storytelling with a strong social message, bringing attention to health issues through cinema. Beyond writing, Kagho also featured in other projects, including Dark Room (2019). His career reflected a passion for telling meaningful stories, whether through acting, directing, or screenwriting. He was respected for his ability to create narratives that resonated with audiences while sparking conversations about important issues in society. Sadly, his promising journey was cut short when he passed away after drowning in a swimming pool in Asaba, Delta State.
