
Andrew Mudge
Biography
Andrew Mudge is an American filmmaker celebrated for his visually rich and emotionally resonant storytelling. A graduate of Colorado College, he gained early acclaim with his short film Chicken Pox Pal, featured at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2003, he won the Chrysler Million Dollar Film Festival for The P.T. Johansen Field Guide to North American Monsters. His debut feature, The Forgotten Kingdom (2013), shot entirely in Lesotho, earned multiple international awards and three Africa Movie Academy Awards. Mudge's work often explores themes of identity and belonging, drawing inspiration from his travels and deep appreciation for diverse cultures.
