The film is based on true life sceneries, showing both true and fake lifestyles lived by some residents and visitors to the city of Lagos, Nigeria.

Akpos, a young man, travels to South Africa with his beautiful girlfriend Bianca. However, he soon realises the tough competition awaiting him when many men start flirting with her.

To cope with her feelings of inferiority, a woman from an impoverished family tells tall tales of her wealth and influence to upgrade her social status.

Nafisat and Salihu, two young children who were separated from their parents from childhood by the cruel business of Alhaji Makarfi. The gullible villagers love and revere him but unknown to them, their children are beaten, brainwashed and force to become prostitutes, suicide bombers and ALMAJIRIS.
