Arinze Kene

Biography

Arinzé Kene is a celebrated British-Nigerian actor and playwright whose work spans stage, screen and writing. He moved from Lagos to London as a child, and his early experiences of identity, belonging and class deeply inform his art. On stage, he’s best known for his powerful one-man show Misty, which combines spoken word, storytelling, and music to explore life in London with raw intimacy. He’s also originated major roles in musicals, including playing Bob Marley in Get Up, Stand Up!.
