Ariyo Oluwakemisola Apesin, known professionally as Kemity, is a Nigerian actress, filmmaker, and entertainer. Born on September 29 in Cotonou, Benin Republic, she moved to Nigeria to study Business Management at Lagos State Polytechnic and began acting in the mid-2000s. Kemity gained recognition through roles in Yoruba films such as Kadara Olohun, Return of Kesari, Omo Alhaji and Ayanmo, and is known for her versatility on screen. She also produces films and works behind the scenes as a makeup artist and costume designer. Beyond acting, Kemity has taken on brand ambassador roles and speaks out on social issues affecting everyday Nigerians. She’s a proud mother and uses her platform to celebrate her children’s milestones. Her journey reflects resilience and creativity, earning her respect in the Nollywood community.
