Biography
Bukola Awoyemi – widely known by her nickname Arugba – is a Nigerian actress, producer and brand ambassador who hails from Ilorin, Kwara State. She earned a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Ilorin, graduating in 2005. Her breakout role came in the 2009 film Arugba, which earned her wide recognition. Since then she has featured in numerous Yoruba- and English-language films and has ventured into film production as well. Outside acting, Bukola is known for her work as a singer and dancer, and as a brand influencer with a growing social-media presence.
