Ayo Lijadu is a seasoned Nigerian actor, playwright, and musician whose career spans decades in theater, television, and film. He is best known for his role as Christopher St. John in the acclaimed TV series Tinsel and as Ibrahim Musa-Philips in Taste of Love. His film credits include Gangs of Lagos, Chief Daddy, and Shijuwomi. In 2020, at age 65, he launched his music career with the highlife single “Seun Rere,” inspired by societal themes. Lijadu hails from a distinguished artistic lineage, including the Lijadu Sisters, Fela Kuti, and Wole Soyinka. He continues to contribute to Nigeria’s cultural landscape through acting, music, and political commentary.
