Benjamin Edward Meara Stiller is an American actor, director, and writer who has successfully straddled the worlds of broad studio comedy and prestige television. After spending the early 2020s focusing largely on directing (most notably the critical hit Severance), Stiller made a full-force return to acting in 2026. In 2026, Stiller reprises his iconic role as the nurse-turned-CIA-in-law Greg Focker in "Focker In-Law" (November 25, 2026). Directed by John Hamburg, the film explores a new generational dynamic: Greg is now the skeptical father figure, dealing with his son Henry (Skyler Gisondo) getting engaged to a pop star played by Ariana Grande. The project marks Stiller's first live-action franchise appearance in over a decade. Simultaneously, Stiller continues to be a major force behind the camera. He directed and executive produced the highly anticipated second season of "Severance", which premiered on Apple TV+ in January 2025. However, it was confirmed in 2026 that he would step back from directing the third season to focus on his feature film slate, which includes pre-production on the WWII survival drama "The Lost Airman".
