Biography
Bobby Rak is a Nigerian independent filmmaker, action director, and martial artist. He is the CEO of RAK Entertainment, a company he founded in 2005 in Port Harcourt, which has grown into a hub for producing short films, dance, and fight performances. Known for his creativity in action choreography, Bobby has directed sequences in notable Nollywood films such as Kajola, Valour, Reflections, The Volunteers, and Apaye. Beyond directing, Bobby is a trained martial artist skilled in karate, taekwondo, aikido, judo, and kickboxing. He holds a third-degree black belt in karate, a discipline that strongly influences his work in film, giving his action sequences a realistic and engaging edge. His independent film projects include She Got Served (2022), Debbie’s Door (2021), 3-Dimensions, Bloody Moon, and My Own Space (all 2017). A graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, Bobby continues to combine his love for storytelling, martial arts, and nature into projects that push the boundaries of Nollywood filmmaking.
