Biography
Bode Ojo is a Nigerian-American entrepreneur and filmmaker based in Houston, Texas. With a background in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, he began promoting African music and comedy shows in Houston in the early 2000s. In 2012, he founded the Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards to honor Nigerian filmmakers. His 2017 film "American Driver" featured stars like Jim Iyke and AY Makun, marking a significant moment in Nollywood's diaspora cinema. Since then, Ojo has written three screenplays and produced four more films. He also serves as Vice President at CITSAP, a tech company in Houston.
