Biography

Bonang Dorothy Matheba is a renowned television presenter, radio personality, actress, and businesswoman. She gained prominence as the host of the SABC 1 music show LIVE, now known as Live Amp, which catapulted her into the spotlight. Over the years, Bonang has hosted numerous prestigious events, including the MTV Africa Music Awards and the BET Awards. In 2017, she launched the Bonang Matheba Bursary Fund to support girls' education. She has also addressed the United Nations on the importance of prioritizing girls' education and has lent her voice in support of Global Citizen campaigns.
