He began his career as a screenwriter, researcher, and story editor on the Africa Magic TV show Forbidden. In 2022, Chiemeka made his directorial debut with Samaria, a short film that explores the challenges faced by young people in Lagos. The film reflects his commitment to telling unapologetically Nigerian stories grounded in universal emotions. Chiemeka is also a co-founder of Section 13, a creative collective focused on storytelling across various media .
