Christine Boateng is a Ghanaian filmmaker, documentary photographer, and film programmer based in Accra. Her work often draws from her dreams, memory, personal experiences, and intimate stories shared by people. She is fascinated by stories that explore identity and the complex relationships people have with themselves and others. Christine believes in the power of collaboration and the beauty of belonging to a community or spaces that can nurture her craft. Her short films have found their way to audiences worldwide through platforms such as Nowness, Indie Memphis Film Festival, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, and the International Festival of Films on Art (Le FIFA).
