Clyde Berning is a South African actor and writer with over two decades of experience in theatre, television, and film. He earned a BA Honours in Theatre & Performance from the University of Cape Town and has portrayed roles such as Laertes in Hamlet and Dakin in The History Boys, the latter earning him a Naledi Award. Berning's screen credits include Raised by Wolves, Black Sails, Bloodshot, Monster Hunter, and Redeeming Love. He also wrote The Queenstown Kings and appears in upcoming projects like King George and Hunting Jessica Brok. He resides in Cape Town with his wife, actress Lika van den Bergh, and their three children.
