Akintunde Barnabas, a successful businessman turned governor of Fountain State, has failed to live up to his promises. His son, Iremide Barnabas, a rising tech entrepreneur returning from the U.S., is shocked by the rot in his father's administration. When the opposition party, YAP, recruits Iremide to run against his own father, a bitter political rivalry is born. What begins as a campaign of ideals quickly descends into a dangerous game of secrets and power. Akintunde's political godfather, Alhaji Suara, demands he crush the threat, even if it means destroying his son. An explosive secret from Iremide’s childhood resurfaces: a tragic accident that left his mother dead. The revelation rocks Iremide's world and threatens to derail his ambition. But with quiet strength from his sister and unwavering support from his late mother's memory, he refuses to back down. As his popularity surges, enemies close in. The streets grow tense, and the stakes become life-threatening. On the eve of the election, a rally erupts in violence, and the future of a family, a state, and a dream hangs in the balance.
