Daniel Kanayo Daniel, popularly known as DKD, is a Nigerian actor, model, voice-over artist, and events compère. He gained prominence for his role as Bossman in the 2015 film A Soldier's Story, a performance that earned him both the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Award and the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in 2016—the first Nigerian actor to achieve this feat in the same year. Daniel has starred in notable films such as '76 and Mummy Dearest. In 2022, he was inducted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, becoming one of the few Nollywood actors to join the Oscar Academy.
