Biography
Dolapo Adigun is a Nigerian filmmaker, editor, and visual effects artist, currently serving as Head of Post-Production at Anthill Studios in Lagos. After earning a BA in English from Adekunle Ajasin University and an MA from the University of Ibadan, she transitioned from social media management to film editing, driven by her passion for storytelling. In 2019, she joined Anthill Studios through a training program initiated by founder Niyi Akinmolayan. Since then, she has contributed to notable Nollywood films such as Jagun Jagun, The House of Secrets, and Criminal, taking on roles including editor, VFX artist, and assistant director. Her work on Prophetess showcased her VFX skills, particularly in creating realistic crowd scenes. In 2022, FilmOne recognized her as one of Nigeria's top editors. Beyond film, Dolapo is the founder of The Diary of an African Child, a platform aimed at empowering youth through storytelling. She also authored How to Find Your True Self, reflecting her commitment to personal growth and mentorship. Dolapo continues to inspire aspiring creatives, emphasizing the importance of versatility and continuous learning in the film industry.
