Ekow Blankson (1972–2022) was a celebrated Ghanaian actor and media executive. He held a Master's in Fine Arts and a Diploma in Theatre Arts from the University of Ghana, along with a marketing certificate from Heineken Global Commerce University in Amsterdam. Beginning his acting career at 16, Blankson starred in numerous films, including Checkmate, Borga, and Savannah. He also held leadership roles in media houses like TV Africa and GhanaWeb, where he served as Commercial Manager. His accolades include the Golden Star Award and nominations from the Africa Movie Academy Awards and Ghana Movie Awards. He passed away at 50 after a brief illness.
