Farooq “Faq” Oreagba is a Nigerian financial executive, cultural figure, and cancer survivor who gained widespread public attention following his viral appearance at the 2024 Ojude Oba Festival in Ogun State. Known for his distinctive fashion style, confident horseback entrance, and modern interpretation of traditional Yoruba culture, he quickly became known online as the “King of Steeze.” Beyond the viral moment, Oreagba is an experienced investment banker and the Managing Director/CEO of NG Clearing Limited, with decades of experience in capital markets, derivatives trading, and financial infrastructure. Born in 1966, he studied engineering and finance in the United Kingdom before building a career across Nigerian and international financial markets. His personal journey also includes a long battle with multiple myeloma, a form of cancer he has openly discussed while advocating for awareness and resilience.
