Biography
Isiko Abubaker is a Ugandan sound designer and filmmaker known for his work on TV series like Sanyu, JDC, and Selina, as well as films such as The Passenger and Engaito. Starting as a boom operator in 2017, he quickly advanced in the industry, earning recognition for his sound design skills. His dedication led to collaborations with notable professionals, including Adnan Ssenkumba, and participation in the MultiChoice Talent Factory program. A graduate of Makerere University with a BA in Drama and Film, Isiko co-founded Audio Rustle, a company that offers sound equipment rentals and training. His work has been honored at the Uganda Film Festival, highlighting his impact on the region's film industry.
