Jacqueline Suowari (b. 1990) is a Nigerian draughtswoman and mixed-media artist known for her striking ballpoint pen drawings and large portraits. She holds a BA in Fine Art and Design (majoring in Painting) from the University of Port Harcourt. Her artistry, which she began exploring seriously at age five, has matured into creating works that often require months to complete—layering thousands of pen strokes. Suowari’s work has been exhibited in Nigeria and internationally, including solo shows in Miami, New York, and the UK. Beyond drawing, she experiments with installation, performance, and mixed media, using her art to explore identity, perception, and vulnerability
