Jordy Sank is a director, screenwriter, and producer who co-founded Sanktuary Films alongside his long-term creative partner, Gabriella Blumberg. A two-time South African Film and TV Award (SAFTA) winner, he is known for pushing the boundaries of traditional storytelling. His work often explores social justice themes, such as the migrant experience in South Africa or the survivor stories of historical tragedies. In 2022, he was honored with the Emerging Filmmaker Award at the SAFTAs for his significant impact on the industry.
