Biography
Kelsey Egan is an American-South African filmmaker, writer, and stunt performer known for her genre-blending storytelling and dynamic on-set presence. A graduate of Vassar College with degrees in Neuroscience & Behaviour and Drama, she began her career in New York and Beijing before settling in South Africa, where she founded Crave Pictures. Her directorial debut, Gargoyle (2009), was nominated for a South African Film & Television Award, and her feature film Glasshouse (2021) garnered critical acclaim and multiple SAFTA wins. Egan's diverse experience includes work on major productions like District 9, Mad Max: Fury Road, and The Crown, showcasing her versatility in the film industry
