Biography
Kobi Rana (born Cornelius Phanthomas) is a Ghanaian filmmaker, actor, writer, musician, and multi-hyphenate creative with over two decades in entertainment. He started acting in 2003 with Hotel St. James, wrote his first project Fire for Fire in 2005, and made his directorial debut in 2010 with Kiss Me If You Can. Over the years, he has produced and directed a wide range of films from comedies to drama and social-issue projects gaining recognition for his versatility. In 2025, he marked 15 years of directing with the bold one-actor film Radio. Known for his outspoken personality and boundary-pushing creativity, Kobi Rana continues to influence Ghanaian cinema.
