Luke Aire Oyovbaire is a Nigerian filmmaker, cinematographer, editor, and director with a strong presence in Nollywood and international projects. Born in Delta State, he holds a Master’s degree in Cinematography and Post-Production from the University of Greenwich, London. Oyovbaire has worked on feature films, shorts, and television, contributing as director, editor, writer, cinematographer and producer across more than 20 projects. His feature directorial work includes the 2021 romantic drama Loving Rona, which earned nominations at festivals such as the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards and the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival. He also co-directed A Break From Reality and directed short films like Missing Call, We Are Fine and Domestic Accident, some of which have screened at international festivals. Beyond narrative filmmaking, Oyovbaire has produced documentaries and corporate films for brands and NGOs including Guinness, Nestlé and LEAP Africa. He mentors upcoming creatives and teaches filmmaking through workshops and online content, blending technical skill with storytelling in his work.
