Luke Angus is an award-winning filmmaker, 3D animator and creative director known for his emotionally driven animation work and visually striking storytelling. Originally from the west coast of Scotland, he began his animation journey with a strong foundation in 3D artistry, earning recognition early in his career with the Dewar Arts Award and later working in major creative hubs including New York City. Angus has collaborated with studios such as Nickelodeon and Framestore and has built a portfolio of independent short films that showcase his narrative focus and technical skill. His sci-fi short Alienated won Best Animated Short Film at the Short Film Awards, and his recent animated piece Solstice earned selection at Academy Award-qualifying and BAFTA-qualifying festivals, bringing international attention to his work. He is currently Head of Animation at the studio Revenant, where he continues to blend narrative depth with cutting-edge animation. Angus’s work spans writing, directing and editing, reinforcing his role as a versatile creative voice.
