Mandla Walter Dube is a South African filmmaker, cinematographer, and producer renowned for his impactful storytelling and commitment to African narratives. Born in Mabopane, he pursued film studies in the U.S., earning a Master of Fine Arts in Cinematography from the American Film Institute. Dube's directorial debut, Kalushi: The Story of Solomon Mahlangu (2016), garnered critical acclaim, winning multiple awards. He continued to captivate audiences with Silverton Siege (2022) and Heart of the Hunter (2024). As the founder of Pambili Media, Dube is dedicated to mentoring emerging black filmmakers and is currently directing an authorized documentary series on Nelson Mandela's life.
