Maryam Apaokagi-Greene, known as Taaooma, is a Nigerian comedian, content creator, and cinematographer. Born in 1999, she studied Tourism at Kwara State University. She began comedy in 2015 after learning video editing from her fiancé, now husband, Abula. Taaooma is known for portraying multiple characters in skits, often humorously depicting African family life. Her viral 2019 skit on African parenting boosted her fame. She is the CEO of Chop Tao and directs for The Greenade Company. Taaooma has won awards including Gage’s Best Online Comedian (2019) and Nigeria’s 25 Under 25 for Social Entrepreneurship (2020). She welcomed a daughter in 2024.
