Mayowa Labiran is one of the few pioneering female art directors and production designers in Nollywood. A University of Ilorin graduate, she began her journey as an actress on Tinsel before transitioning behind the scenes as a skilled set designer Her expert work on projects like Voiceless (2020), This Lady Called Life, Finding Hubby, and Fate of Alakada: The Party Planner has earned her industry-wide recognition Notably, Labiran received a Best Art Director nomination at the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, further cementing her influence in the evolution of cinematic design in Nigeria
