Meji Alabi (born December 13, 1988) is a Grammy-winning Nigerian-British director, photographer, and producer. Raised between London, Texas, and Lagos, he co-founded JM Films in 2014 and is signed to Ridley Scott’s RSA Films. Alabi has directed iconic music videos for Beyoncé, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, and Davido. His commercial work includes campaigns for Guinness, KFC, Toyota, and Pepsi. In 2023, he co-directed Disney+’s Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever, and in 2024, he made his feature debut with Water & Garri, starring Tiwa Savage, which became Prime Video’s biggest Nigerian opening. Alabi is celebrated for blending African aesthetics with global storytelling.
