Biography
Melkamu Haile, born in 1988, is an Ethiopian writer and director recognized for his contributions to contemporary Ethiopian cinema. He directed the feature film Stinger (2022) and co-wrote the television drama series Love Unto Grave (2024), an adaptation of Haddis Alemayehu’s novel Love to the Grave. The series, produced by SewMehon Films, aired on the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) and gained acclaim for its storytelling and production quality. Haile's work reflects a commitment to bringing Ethiopian narratives to the screen, contributing to the country's cultural and artistic landscape
