Biography
Minenhle "Minnie" Dlamini was born on July 7, 1990, in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, to Jabulani and Queen Dlamini. She attended Northlands Girls’ High School and later studied film, media, drama, and economics at the University of Cape Town. Minnie began her career in 2010 as a presenter for the SABC 1 music show Live Amp. She gained further recognition through her roles in television series such as Generations, The Wild, and Rockville. In addition to acting, she has hosted several reality TV shows, including Tropika Island of Treasure and Love Never Lies: South Africa. In 2017, she married Quinton Jones, and their wedding was featured in the docu-series Becoming Mrs Jones. The couple divorced in early 2022. Beyond her entertainment career, Minnie is a philanthropist. In 2014, she founded the Minnie Dlamini Foundation, aiming to provide young South African girls with access to quality education. In 2015, the foundation sponsored 29 students for their university tuition.
