Mkaiwawi Mwakaba, also known as Mkay, is a prominent Kenyan filmmaker, editor, director, and writer with over 15 years of experience in the film and television industry. She began her career in the newsroom at Kenya Television Network (KTN) and transitioned into photography and videography before finding her niche in motion editing. Her editing work on the critically acclaimed film Nairobi Half Life (2012) earned her recognition at the Kalasha Awards (Kenya), Africa Movie Academy Awards (Nigeria), and AFDA Awards (Tanzania).
