Moses Ipadeola is a Nigerian filmmaker, writer, and director known for his work in independent cinema that blends African culture, mythology, and contemporary themes. He studied Theatre Arts at the University of Ibadan and later earned a masters degree in Directing from the University of Lagos, grounding his storytelling in deep cultural understanding and technical skill. Ipadeola is the creative force behind short films such as Ifá Therapy and Ekún Ìyàwó: A Tale of a Runaway Bride, both of which reflect his interest in traditional cosmology and human experience. His work Ekún Ìyàwó has been featured at major festivals and received recognition at the FilmJoint Awards, including a nomination for Best African Film and wins for cinematography and audience acclaim. In addition to directing, he has completed production on The Autograph of Nothingness, a psychological short exploring emotional isolation. Through his films and genre concept he calls “TradoFiction,” Ipadeola champions stories rooted in African heritage and introspective creativity.
