Mutiganda wa Nkunda is a renowned Rwandan film director, screenwriter, and producer. After completing a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture in 2013, he transitioned into film journalism and criticism before committing fully to filmmaking. In 2014, he directed Rayila, his first short film, and created the sitcom Inshuti, one of Rwanda’s first TV series. He co-founded the production company IZACU and directed his debut feature film Nameless, which won the Best Screenplay Award at FESPACO 2021. His work often explores social issues, balancing local narratives with international appeal.
