Biography

Nathan Magoola (born 1978, Jinja, Uganda) is a prolific filmmaker, producer, screenwriter, and creative entrepreneur. After moving to Minnesota in 2001 to study coding, he transitioned into filmmaking—earning early experience as an associate producer on a debut project that was selected for the Berlinale He returned to Uganda in 2009 and founded Ntice Mediaworks, producing acclaimed films like The Felistas Fable (Gothenburg Film Festival) and shorts shown at Rotterdam’s festival As producer, he launched the hit TV series Prestige (Pearl Magic Prime, 3 seasons) and more recently Beloved, further elevating Ugandan television His work explores powerful, authentic African stories with both national and international resonance.
