His film credits include The Constant Gardener and Blood Diamond. In 2001, Reding founded Sponsored Arts for Education (S.A.F.E.), a Kenyan NGO utilizing street theatre to address critical issues like HIV/AIDS, female genital mutilation, and radicalization. Under his leadership, S.A.F.E. established theatre companies across Kenya, including Safe Pwani, Safe Ghetto, and Safe Maa. Reding directed award-winning films such as Ndoto Za Elibidi, Ni Sisi, and Watatu, and continues to reside in Nairobi, focusing on social change through the arts.
