Nirvana Nokuthula Nokwe-Mseleku, born on July 16, 1996, in Johannesburg, South Africa, is a multifaceted artist encompassing roles as an actress, singer, songwriter, producer, photographer, and filmmaker. She hails from a lineage rich in artistic talent; her mother, Tu Nokwe, is a renowned musician and actress, and her father, the late Bheki Mseleku, was a celebrated jazz musician. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in the arts, Nirvana was exposed to music and performance from an early age, beginning her career at just four years old as a vocalist for ad jingles and movie soundtracks.​
