Biography
Nnamdi Odunze is a Nigerian film and television director, producer, and media entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He is the President and CEO of Walnuts Entertainment World Ltd., a company known for producing films, TV shows, and live events. Odunze began his career at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), where he trained under notable figures such as Zeb Ejiro, Amaka Igwe, and Tunde Kelani. He is credited with creating Nigeria’s first reality TV show, "Next Nollywood Star," in 2004. His directing credits include "Double Dekoi" (2023), "Extreme Measure" (2003), and "Sweetest Goodbye" (2006). Beyond directing, Odunze has organized roadshows, managed film premieres, and collaborated with international filmmakers. He has also worked on productions in the Republic of Benin and Togo, showcasing his versatility and commitment to the African creative industry. Currently, he serves as the Creative Director at Magic Africa Productions. Odunze continues to influence the Nigerian entertainment scene through his innovative projects and leadership roles.
