Olayemi Solade
Biography
Olayemi Olufela Solade, born on January 31, 1960, in Surulere, Lagos, is a distinguished Nigerian actor and producer with over four decades in the entertainment industry. His acting journey commenced at 17 during FESTAC '77, where he performed in Nigeria's entry play, "Langbodo." Solade holds a degree in Dramatic Arts from Obafemi Awolowo University and has earned three master's degrees in various disciplines. He has featured in notable films such as Voiceless Scream, Elevator Baby, and Ajosepo. Beyond acting, he has served as a lecturer and was appointed a professor by the Federal University in Ekiti in March 2023. Solade is also the founding president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN)
